Mediation with neighbours and others
All disputes disrupt our need for peace in life.
We cannot change our fellow human beings but we can support you on the road ahead.
Mahatma Gandhi said, “You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world”.
Mediation has an intercultural tradition dating back over 2500 years. First in Egypt and then in Asia and Africa. Chinese immigrants brought mediation to American and then it eventually reached us from there.
Mediation for me means showing people the tools they need to untangle situations, to understand why someone is reacting in a certain way and then to work together to find a suitable route ahead into the future.
Both parties should retain their respect and self-esteem; this is our philosophy.
